On Tuesday I went with my Young Women up to hike (walk?) Donut Falls. When we arrived to the parking lot at the trailhead it was pouring rain. We hung out there and the youth ate their sack dinners to see if the storm would break. It worked out perfectly so that we were able to start up the trail as soon as everyone was done eating. It is a very short 'hike'--about 1/3 of a mile up. I'd never been there before so I enjoyed the stroll through the woods thoroughly.
Water has been especially high this year. I packed my camera along to experiment a bit and snapped a few pictures once we got to the top.
I told the Young Men leaders {who planned the activity} that next time we should plan a hike that I'll feel the next morning. ;) I would really like to get out and do some more hiking before Summer ends. Scott and I even went to try on baby hiking backpacks but I seriously could not walk 10 feet in one of those things without feeling like I was going to fall over backwards...and that was walking on flat ground! What can I say? Bridger & the backpack are a lot heavier than you'd think! Or maybe I'm just weak? Take your pick....

Come with us to Adam's Canyon. We'll go again before the end of the summer.
I like the pics! - the water looks so "soft" - I miss Utah and being able to hike up those gorgeous mountains! :) Mr. Bridger is SO handsome btw! What a cutie!
