Weddings and Reunions

On Friday, I picked Scott up from work so that we could head straight up to Kaysville for my friend Liz's wedding reception. After stopping by mom and dad's house to pick them up, we went over to their BEAUTIFUL backyard reception.


Liz looked gorgeous in her dress and Duncan couldn't keep the smile off his face. The food, the music, the dancing and the weather turned out perfectly! It was so fun to see them loving every moment of their special day.

While at the reception, I also had the chance to see a few friends from high school that I haven't seen in awhile. As always, it is so fun to see everyone! Mike (Flo)--one of my best friends--just got home from his mission in Portugal last week. It was the first time (in two years!) that I got to see him and his family so that was really fun.

The night turned out to be such a blast! After dancing with my dad, I even convinced Scott to take me out on the dance floor despite his lack of enthusiasm about it. :) My only regret is that I didn't get a picture with the bride. I know her photographer took one, though. Perhaps she will share it with me? (thanks, Liz)


And....for those of you wanting to know about the height difference (Liz is even wearing heels in the pictures I have)--Liz is about 5'2" and Duncan is 6'6"....a whopping 18" difference!
