Memorial Day Weekend-Part 2

Sunday morning we woke up and got ready to go to Mike's (Flo) homecoming. Flo just got back on May 16th from serving his mission in Portugal.

He did such an awesome job and shared a really neat experience he had while serving along with his testimony of the gospel. It was such a great experience for me to see how much he has grown. As he was sharing his testimony, I felt so strongly that I need to become better. A lot of times I get side-tracked on things that in the grand scheme of things, just are not important. I was so glad to have my vision sharpened--even for a few minutes that day--on what the most important things are.

Ironically enough, Flo's brother (Mitch) is leaving to serve his mission on Wednesday so the meeting also served as his farewell. Mitch did a great job as well and I know that he will be an awesome missionary.

After hanging out at Mom and Dad's house for awhile, Scott and I went to his parents house for another fantastic dinner and then to the cemetery where Scott's grandparents, great-grandparents, and great-uncle are buried.

Because Scott didn't have to work the next day, we stayed to watch a movie (Valkarie) with Tyler and Chelsea. I heard it was good, but I wouldn't know because I was snoozing before it even started. Scott woke his very groggy and grumpy wife up to go home around 11:30 and I really don't remember anything after that.
