Scott and I felt like little kids on Christmas Eve! After the party left and we cleaned up the house, went upstairs, got in bed and watched part of A Christmas Story before deciding that we should probably get some sleep. Neither of us could sleep very well so when the alarm went off at quarter to six, I think we were both excited and a little groggy. Scott went down the stairs to make sure that Santa had come and to turn on the lights of the Christmas tree. He also turned on "Rocky Mountain Christmas", a Davis family favorite. We then both went downstairs to see what Santa had brought!
This is what we look like in the morning...Scott and I each took turns opening a few presents. Some were from each other and some were from Santa. Scott told me that I should go first and the very first thing I opened was something that I've been wanting for a very long time but didn't think I would ever get! It was a brand new Nikon D60 camera! I don't think I've ever cried when receiving a present before but I could not help myself. It just started!

I must have been a very good girl this year.I had made Scott a book on Shutterfly.com which I think he thought was kind of fun to open and read through. Santa brought Scott a few movies like "Elf" and "The Dark Knight." Santa even brought Aspen a few presents! :)
It was such a wonderful 1st Christmas morning together in our house! I couldn't have asked for anything better!
