Fought Family Christmas

After our fun Christmas morning at our house, we made the trip up to Kaysville to celebrate with family up there. Scott and I decided that since we were going to have part of our Christmas up there, we would only open a few presents at our house and haul the rest of them up there to open. When we got there around 9, Patrick still wasn't awake yet. It turned out to be a good thing because we were able to unload our car and get all of the presents under the tree.

Aspen looked stinkin' adorable in her Christmas outfit!

Once that was done, we went in and found Patrick awake and ready open presents. We all gathered around the tree and started opening! We wanted Patrick to go first since one of the presents Scott and I got him was...well, as you can see below, not "wrapable."

Patrick seemed to like him a lot and is now calling him "Dwight." We then opened up the rest of the presents! Mom and Dad got me some nice new shoes and a dehydrator! They got Scott some ammo for his shotgun and some hunting glasses! Patrick gave us the DVDs of "Christmas Vacation" and "A Christmas Story." One of the highlights of the day was Patrick and Mom sporting their matching 'footsie' PJs.

Oh, and have I forgotten to mention that Santa brought Scott a Wii? :)

After all of the present opening was finished, Scott and I busted out our cooking skills (or lack of?) and made breakfast for the crew. We had waffles (GF Pancakes for Scottie), sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, and OJ (egg nog for a brave few).

We spent the rest of the day playing games like Seinfeld Scene It, The Office Trivia Game, and watching movies. Of course, we HAD to get in our traditional Monopoly game this year as well. We played in teams...Mom and Dad, Patrick and Megon, Scott and Me. I think we all had a fun time and, no surprise to my family, Scott and I won! :)

Thanks for a fun Christmas everyone and especially to Mom and Dad for their generosity!
