Oakley Rodeo '13

In carrying on with Scott's family tradition we made the trip up to beautiful Oakley for the rodeo last Friday night (July 5th).  After a picnic dinner we almost got blown away by a small rain storm that came through.  Luckily it only lasted for a few minutes and the cousins were able to get in some play time before we went in to find our seats.

All of the little boys seem to be fascinated by the rodeo events.  Bridger was very curious as to why they were doing everything.  (Why are they untying the calf? Why is that horse trying to get him off? etc.)

Scott and I both love rodeos and it is undeniably a beautiful setting up at the Oakley outdoor arena.  Scott was proud of himself for getting not 1, but 2 free t-shirts.  He seems to collect free stuff everywhere we go.  And yes, he still sleeps in the pink Dodge Ram t-shirts he caught last year.

Nana claims she doesn't know how to use her phone....good thing Em does!

Another rain storm came through the last 15 minutes of the rodeo but the boys were both still in good spirits so we decided to stay through the rain.  (Bridger was dying to see more fireworks which they do at the end of the events!)

Can't wait for next year!

Bridgers face in the picture with Scott and the boys is seriously so cute. He has such a strong personality! What a cutie.
