My friend Tara is having a baby girl next month and so all of our old roommates got together last Saturday for a little breakfast turned brunch to celebrate.
As part of my gift, I made this motorcycle diaper cake to display on the table. I was so happy with the way it turned out--especially since I am SOOO not crafty. I take no credit for the idea--it came from Pinterest--but I did change it a little and added a few more things than the 'recipe' called for. Hopefully Tara liked it and Baby Girl can put the stuff to good use.

It was fun to get together with the girls and chit-chat. It is sometimes strange for me to think that I used to live with those girls and see them every day. Some days I miss coming home to that drama filled apartment. Life just seems so routine now. And yet, routine is what I love most. I suppose there is a time and a season for everything. And, gratefully, these girls will always be some of my best friends.
