For the past year I've been wanting to complete a project for each of my kids called "A Day in the Life of…" where I document their entire day from beginning to end through photos. I kept putting it off knowing what an investment of time it would be. When the year began, I set it as one of my New Year's Resolutions and decided we better start them early or I'd never get done!
At the beginning of February I documented Dawson's day. It was a fun, long, exhausting day! I was certainly ready when bedtime came! Of course I was not able to document a few of the things we normally do (like reading together!)-simply because I couldn't be in two places at once--but, we did our best.
Since that day, I've been filtering, editing, and compiling photos to get them organized for viewing. Here are just a few of the many photos I took that day. They may not look like much, but to me, they represent a very fleeting period of time with my Dawson. I hope you enjoy them.

That is so darling, honey. Thanks for the memories! How I love that little cowboy!
I love everything about this! I wish that I had something like this from every stage of my kids' lives. They change so much so fast and I tell myself I'll remember all the little quirks of their personalities but then I blink and they're totally different. This will be such a fun memory for you to look back on!
