Anyone who knows me knows that I am EXTREMELY particular about my teeth, my kids teeth and my dentist. Seriously--I don't know how many people "research" their dentist, but word-of-mouth just doesn't quite cut it for me. I look for someone with a solid educational background and a balance of experience and familiarity with the technological advancements in the dental field. Ahh...it is quite the process.
Anywho-I FINALLY found a dual-specialty pediatric dentist for Bridger and we took him for the first time last Friday! Scott stepped away from work for a little while to join us for the momentous event--alright, alright, so it isn't really "momentous". I just love the dentist. :)
We regularly play "dentist" at home and I had a feeling Bridger would do well. But, even he surprised me with just how well. They did x-rays, a full exam, a cleaning and he just smiled and giggled at the appropriate times. He opened without being asked and the most challenging thing for him proved to be choosing which flavor of toothpaste to get. (He ended up with chocolate.) Ahhh...he truly is a boy after my own heart. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes--just the way I like it!
