oom the night before (Friday) because he was sick and his croup cough had him unable to catch his breath and throwing up. It is amazing to me how that boy gets croup EVERY time he gets sick. Poor boy was scared to death and, of course, he only has issues when his dr's office and instacare are closed. So--off to the E.R. we go! We were hesitant to take B to Nana & Papas house for fear of getting the other kiddos sick but he was DYING to go and we had been talking about it the whole week. We finally decided to take him but leave after the hunt. It was a good compromise and Bridger had a blast. It was also good prep for when the Easter Bunny came to our house the next morning and hid a whole lot more eggs to find.
The boys made out like bandits and Bridger couldn't get those Starburst Jelly Beans into his little mouth fast enough. (We are finding the Bridger cannot eat most holiday candy because it is all processed with peanuts! Kitkats, Reese's, Snickers, Milky Way, Twix and M&M's are all out!) Both boys got new church clothes. Bridger got his first real suit and was so proud of being 'just like daddy'. Dawson was along for the ride and enjoyed getting a few things of his own--particularly the books--more for chewing on than actually reading at his point. Holidays are so much fun with the boys at this age. Everything is so new and exciting! Scott and I are loving it!
