I know, my posts are all over the place. But- I'm writing stuff down as I sift through folders and folders worth of pictures on our computer. It is what it is.
The day after Christmas Scott and I were able to take Bridger sledding for the first time! We had been wanting to do that as one of our Advent Activities (more on that later) before Christmas but the weather didn't come through for us. So--the day after Christmas we left Dawson with Grandma (thanks, Mom!) and off we went to my old elementary school to ride the hill I used to sled as a kid. I should also mention that we used the same red plastic sled Santa brought me as a child. What can I say, I think we have definitely used it enough to merit Santa's $5.00 investment. ;)
After a few runs down the hill with Mom & Dad, Bridger wanted to go all by himself so we let him give it a go. Despite face planting in into the snow...over, and over again...he had a great time! When we were done sledding I told Bridger to meet me at the top off the hill so I could teach him how to built a snow angel. He turned to Scott and said, "Mommy's gonna build a snow angel! You build Joseph and I'll build Mary!" Ha! I was glad to know all those lessons on the true meaning of Christmas might have stuck! We just love our Bridger boy. Here is my favorite picture from the day.
