Christmas Catch Up!

I've been meaning to put a few pictures up from Christmas.  I have...a lot.  Here are a few from Christmas Eve.  I'll get Christmas Day up soon.

We spent the evening with Scott's family in his parents beautiful home.  Scott's mom always has it decorated to perfection with every last detail attended to.  I told Scott that night that Christmas there can only be described as enchanting.

After having a wonderful dinner we sang Christmas carols together, talked about the birth of Jesus Christ and watched a video together.  We then let the kids open the non-Santa presents.  Since Scott and I didn't want to drag all of B's presents over there just to drag them right back, he only opened his present from Nana & Papa and the ones from his cousins in North Carolina.  Well, it was more than enough!  :)  He spent about an hour {some kind of new record} playing with the truck and cars from Nana & Papa and finished off the night reading the zoo books from the Steinbachs!  {Thanks, guys!  We are excited to go to the real zoo, too!}

The awesome picture that came with our Zoo present! :) ...can you tell Bridger wasn't feeling very well?
Jack couldn't take his eyes off of his cool new 'Pirate Stuff'
Bridger loves reading the zoo books from his cousins!
The night wouldn't have been complete without butter sauce {and a little bit of cranberry cake}--a family favorite.  We ate much more than we should have and then left for home.  Upon arrival we promptly tucked our sick little Bridger into bed so those sugar plums could start doing their jig. ;)
