Last Friday night we celebrated Bridger's first birthday with our family & friends! We had such a fun time and are grateful to those who made the effort to come! We are lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives. Here are just a few pics from the party...

{The food--we had Cows {Hamburgers}, Pigs {Hot Dogs}, Tractor Fuel {Condiments}, Chicken Eggs {Deviled Eggs}, Slop {Potato Salad}, Farmer Bridger's Vegetable Garden {Veggie Tray}, Cow Chips {Potato Chips}, Farmer Davis' Melon Patch {Watermelon}, Moo Juice {Chocolate & Regular Milk}, & The Pond {Bottled Water}. On the tables we had Chick Feed (Chex Mix) & Hay {Pretzels} Yum!}

{These were the favors I made for each family/couple}

{The barn cake I made with animal cupcakes! This took FOREVER but I thought it turned out pretty cute.}

{We had a cardboard cutout of a farm scene where each of the kids got their picture taken. This one of Bridger's cousin, Jack, is so funny!}
In my family we have a tradition where the 1 year old gets to eat a Jell-O cake on their first birthday. Below are the pictures of Bridger and his Jello-O cake! I have a video of me eating my Jell-O cake on my first birthday and, thanks to Bridger's Aunt Ashley who volunteered to record it for us, he will have one too!

{And, of course...we had to have a pinata!}

{Hailey Rae helping Scott pull the pinata!}

{Ava was a little nervous about doing the pinata so her mom stepped in to help}

{Bridger was spoiled with lots of fun presents! It was a good thing he had so many cousins around to help him unwrap. He was a very tired boy by the time we got to opening presents and was only interested in the card that Gramma & Grampa gave him which made monkey noises! Don't worry--when we got all of his toys out the next day he played with them for about 3 hours straight.}

{Uncle Patrick & Aunt Megon watching Bridger open his presents}
A huge THANK YOU goes out to my mom for taking the day off to help me get ready & also to Scott's parents who graciously allowed us to host the party in their home. What can I say, we just can't seat 25 people at our dining room table! ;) And, most importantly, a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my little Farmer Bridger!
