Busy, Busy.

Since we got back from our trip life has been so incredibly busy! Of course, I'm way behind on updates. So, here is your brief overview.

*The week we got back one of my best friends got married. We enjoyed attending their wedding day festivities! My 'BATH' friends and I have traditionally performed the N'SYNC 'Bye, Bye, Bye' dance at each of our wedding receptions. Brielle's reception was our very last performance. ;)
Scott took a video of it but I'll spare y'all. The best part of the night was watching Brielle dance with each of her three brothers while a recording played of her Dad singing 'Butterfly Kisses' and playing the guitar. {Her Dad is currently serving as a mission president in Mexico and was unable to be in attendance.} I don't think there was a dry eye left in the room. Congrats to
Brielle & Kase!
*We celebrated Easter together as a family. Bridger was fascinated by the Easter basket that the Easter Bunny left for him. I've never seen a kid so darn happy to tear into something. He kept looking at Scott and I and then back at his basket as if to say, "Mom! Dad! Look at all of this stuff!" After our church meetings we were able to attend Easter dinner at my parents house. We were joined by Patrick & Megon and my paternal grandparents. The food was delicious, as usual. In the evening, we all sat around the dining room table and colored eggs together. It was a relaxing day spent reflecting on our Savior and family. It couldn't have been better.

*I've been keeping busy with photoshoots and editing lately. Bridger has been helping me out by sleeping in a little later each morning and taking a few long naps so I can get some work done. ;) I'm grateful for the things I am learning and look forward to the next couple of shoots I have scheduled.

*Scott has been extra busy at work lately. He recently switched his schedule to go in earlier in order to come home earlier in the evening. We are so proud of him and all that he is doing to provide for our family! He works very hard and is constantly being acknowledged at work as one of the most hard-working employees. We feel grateful for his job and for the blessing it is to our family.

*Bridger still isn't crawling but is getting very close! {He gets up on his knees and rocks.} He has also figured out how to scoot around on his bum. He recently learned out to wave 'Bye Bye' which he does spontaneously throughout the day, not just when someone is leaving. He started saying 'Mama' in the last week or so and is usually up for giving sloppy open-mouthed kisses when prompted. {We think he learned to kiss like this in France.} :) On Saturday, I gave Bridger his 4th haircut. He still only has 2 teeth. He does some interesting things with his tongue {rolling it, turning it all the way upside down, pulling on it with his fingers and biting it while showing off his cheesy 'fat-man' grin.} Needless to say, we are loving every second with our little guy.

*We got a late start on yard work this year--thanks to the fact that it was snowing up until a week ago. Scott fertilized the grass, mowed, and sprayed for weeds. I trimmed our bushes and weeded beds. We have a lot of unfinished projects around the yard but they'll have to be put off a little longer thanks to 3 solid days of rain. Oh well.

*We attended our nephew Cole's First Communion. We also attended our niece Ella's comp soccer game! We are so proud of them!

*Bridger and I surprised Gramma & Grampa by driving up and spending the night at their house! Grampa took Bridger to see the animals at a nearby farm {Bridger loved the rooster!} and my Mom & I went out to dinner together. It was fun for everyone--except Scott who was home going to Elder's Quorum meetings. ;)

*Last Sunday I celebrated my first Mother's Day. Scott spoiled me by making me meals and buying me a book off of my wish list. Bridger gave me lots of cuddles. ;) We were also blessed to be able to spend some time with my mom and talk to Scott's on the phone. I don't know how it worked out but Scott and I both got 2 of the best Mom's ever. We can't tell them enough how much we love and appreciate all they do for us!

*Scott had to speak in Sacrament meeting on Mother's Day, too. {Busy day for him!} He did an amazing job, as usual. I think this is his 4th time speaking in our ward in the last 3 years. I'm just glad I get to enjoy it from the pews. ;)
