Here are a few facts...
*I've received more compliments about it than any other item of clothing I've ever owned.
*One day I noticed a lady following me around in a store. She was starting to worry me but finally worked up the courage to talk to me...just to ask me where I got my coat. {"I'm sorry. I've been following you for about 20 minutes because I love your coat! Where did you get it?" } This was a slightly awkward situation.
*I'm terrified to lose a button on this coat. I lose buttons on every coat. That's it. I'm reinforcing them.
*It was given to me as a gift a couple of years ago by one of the most fashionable women I know--my mother-in-law. She has such an eye for things.
*I never knew that purple was a color I could pull off wearing. I've decided I like purple. Or is it just that I like the coat? Regardless, I'm wearing it.
*This coat makes me want to run into an ex-boyfriend just to show him that he lost. Or I won. Take your pick. ;)
*I have come very, very close to breaking my 'brown/black' rule {the buttons are black} when I'm looking for a coat to wear. Yes, I love it that much.
Alright, enough about my coat. I'll post Christmas pics later. Scott is off this week and I'm soaking in every minute we get together. Adios.
