Scott & I had an unexpected Dr. appointment last Friday afternoon after I had spent the morning experiencing light-headedness, cramping and nausea. The doctor wanted to take every precaution and so she ordered that we have an unexpected ultrasound. While the tech was checking me over she asked if we would like to know what we were having a couple of weeks early. Of course, Scott & I jumped at the opportunity. :) Scott and I were both shocked when the tech announced that it is a 'boy'! I also had to laugh at Scott shouting, "He has fingers! He has legs! He has arms!" throughout the entire experience. It actually calmed my nerves quite a bit and took my mind off of the problems that they were investigating. While we don't have any certain explanation for the symptoms I was experiencing, we are hoping to get more answers when we go in for another ultrasound in 2 weeks. As for now, I'm just enjoying looking at the many shades of blue paint that Home Depot offers. ;)

Woo Hoo! Congratulations! I am sorry that you are not feeling very well. I will tell you honestly that my boys were sooooo much more cuddly than my girl. They are total momma's boys and I LOVE it! And.... they are JUST as fun to dress. Hydee.. I am so excited for you. I would love to throw a ward shower for you. Lets chat!

Yea for you Hydee! I am so happy for you both. I personally loved & wanted a boy first so he could be the "protector" of the rest of the kids to come. You're hubby will love having another hunting buddy too! :)
