I don't know whether it is daylight savings or the craziness of the semester but I have been SO tired this week. I'm not talking "20 minute power nap" tired, I'm talking "I'll see you in April" kind of tired.
Part of the problem is the fact that I am incredibly stressed with all that I have to do with school. You would think that I'd be used to the routine of school by now and yet I'm always shocked at how overwhelming it is and how stressed I get. This online class that I'm taking is seriously going to be the death of me. (Scott, please put on my tombstone "One semester short of a diploma") On top of trying to finish that by April 3rd (HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!) so I can count it toward graduation , I'm also trying to juggle group presentations, research papers and exams. There simply are not enough hours in each day!
The other contributor to my sleepiness is the fact that I get home each night between 9:00-10:00 p.m. which leaves me just enough time to eat something quick for dinner and get to bed. Now, anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE sleep. Yet, I find it so challenging to go to sleep 20 minutes after I get home! I really need to come up with a good solution to this because 6:00 a.m. comes WAY too early. I just need some time to unwind and relax before going to sleep. Who wants to rush into sleep when you know that you are just going to have to wake up and do it all over again (and again...and again)? Poor Scott, the 10 minutes we get to see each other each day consists of me being half-way unconscious because I am still mostly asleep or upset that I still have a pile of dishes in the sink, a load of laundry to do, homework to finish and it is time to go to bed. It is at times like these I wish that I didn't have to spend 2 hours of my day in a commute. Think of all the things that could be done! (Like online classes...)
So, with no energy left I'll leave you with one final thought...people are ballroom dancing in the hall in front of me and making grunting noises...gotta love BYU.

WOw just reading that made me tired!
Being in school is SO exhausting. At least when school is over you can mentally check out without huge penalties. Good luck!
If anyone can do it, you can Hydee! You have always been such an accomplished goal-setter. When this is all over, perhaps I will treat you to a nice pedicure with your mom!
amen sister, AMEN
