Last weekend was a family-fun-packed weekend as Scott's sister (Ashley) and her family flew in from Houston to visit! Ashley and Cinco just welcomed baby Ava Leigh into the family about 6 weeks ago and so we were very excited to have the chance to meet her for the first time.
All of Cinco's family were in town for their traditional ski trip and so it made perfect sense to bless Ava when both families could be present. Cinco did a wonderful job with the blessing and (as always) I think it is adorable how little girls seem to make their daddy's heart melt.
After the blessing, both families enjoyed a wonderful dinner that Mama Davis prepared. Dinner was follwed by chocolate cake with raspberries...mmm....in honor of Ella's eighth birthday on Saturday! After 8 long years of waiting, Ella finally has another girl cousin! :)
Side Note: I seem to be the one that gets really excited when Scott's family comes into town because it gives me a chance to get to know each of them better. One Christmas and a stressful wedding week visit just isn't enough time to get to know my sister and brother-in-laws! (Let alone my cute nephews!)--Hint, hint Megan and Dave.
Congrats to Cinco and Ashley on their new arrival! She is ADORABLE and we are so happy to have finally met her!

How cute is she. You know it it the aunt and uncle's right to spoil her to pieces! I was so excited to hear from you. Let's totally do the shopping trip, I will be done with work May 1st (yeah!!). Keep going with school, it is almost over, we know how you feel. Can not wait to see you guys to hang out and just have some fun!
