1. I rock myself to sleep at night. I know this sounds weird, but I will gently rock back and forth while lying in bed and it works like a charm. Unfortunately, I think this drives Scott up the wall.
2. I can consume abnormally large amounts of pizza and/or cheesecake...more than the typical girl . Prime example...Scott bought me a large pizza the other day which was 8 slices...I had 6 of them in about 10 minutes.
3. It is impossible for me to wear brown and black at the same time. Even if it is just running out to get the mail, I can't just put on the shoes by the door if they are brown and I'm wearing black or vice versa. There have been occasions where it has accidentally happened and when it does, I feel the need to go and change my entire outfit immediately.
4. When getting up in the morning I set my alarm for a half hour to an hour earlier than I have to wake up just so I can hit snooze several times. This has resulted in me a) hating the sound of my alarm, b) wondering why the heck I keep getting woken up every 9 minutes, and c) nearly throwing my alarm clock against the wall. And yet, I continue to do it.
5. I'm obsessed with teeth and the mouth. I could never leave the house without brushing my teeth and I definitely would not be able to go to sleep without brushing! It drives me slightly crazy that Scott will eat/drink after he has brushed his teeth at night. One of the things I miss most about working as a dental assistant is I don't get to floss other people's teeth anymore. (Which in and of itself is psycho, I know.) Scott thinks I'm absolutely crazy but I change my toothbrush EVERY 3 months (and therefore make him do the same). Come on everyone...it says right on the package it needs to be changed every 3 months...
6. When nobody is home I dance and sing in the kitchen while I'm cooking. Now, when I say dance and sing, I mean full on productions. Aspen looks at me like I'm crazy and a lot of time she will get up and back away from me, not quite sure how to respond to my sudden bout of insanity. No wonder it takes me so long to cook a meal...

LOL to the rocking, the desire to floss others' teeth, and the musical numbers in the kitchen. i would love to see that.
Quirky? I thought that everybody did those things!! ;) Just kidding, but, I totally relate to the singing in the kitchen when I cook...we should make a CD called "crooning in the kitchen"!

I am pretty similar when it comes to the brown and black thing. Eric thinks I am insane.
Those are great quirks! Love it! And the black and brown thing...that's weird. Ha!
i have a confession- i do the same thing with my alarm clock! i always feel bad for others who have to do it, but i can't get myself up unless i feel like i've been able to sleep in a little bit!
