Other than his ear infections, this little guy is doing great. He's up from the 4th percentile to the 23rd percentile for weight and has also jumped to the 67th percentile for height {growing 3 inches in 2 months!}. I forgot to ask his head measurement but lets just say that some of his 'bigger' clothes won't fit over his noggin'. We go back in 2 weeks to have his ears checked again and get his shots. I always hate that part...
About Bridger...
- He's a complete Daddy's boy. He loves when Scott comes home so he can play and cuddle with him. He already says 'da-da' if Scott stops paying attention to him.
- He LOVES to cuddle. I thought that was how every baby was until almost everyone I know has commented on how cuddly he is. Most of the time he is perfectly content having someone hold him...especially if you are scratching his back.
- He squeals...all.day.long. I love it. He is totally happy and off in his own little world. Aspen doesn't find it as amusing when she is trying to take a nap on her pillow and he is testing out his vocal range.
- He is an amazing sleeper. He goes down at 9 & wakes up around 9. {And 8 nights out of 10 he doesn't make a peep in between. When he does, it is usually because he wakes up to Daddy getting ready for work and goes right back to sleep.} He still takes 3 naps each day...the first 2 being about 2 hours each and the last one being about 35-40 minutes.
- He still spits up. All the time. I drives me crazy. It has been a little better with him on solids but he continues to do it. {And lately, it is always right after I get him out of the bathtub and put clean pjs on him...perfect timing.}
- His favorite book is Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? I don't know why but he will sit still through that entire book about 6 times in a row. Other books he tends to lose interest in within about 2 minutes.
- He still falls asleep to Norah Jones at naptime and bedtime. We don't go anywhere without Norah.
- To his parents chagrin, he cuddles a soft kitty blanket to fall asleep every night. We've given him a stuffed dog and blanket with hopes that he will see the light. ;)
- Bath time is still his favorite time of day. He loves to gnaw on his rubber duckies and splash Mom & Dad by smacking the water with his hands and kicking his feet. He also tries to grab 'floataway' toys with his feet and sticks out his tongue to touch his bare chest. No, seriously.
