I guess the best place to start is at the end...the end of duck season, that is. Last Saturday Scott & Tyler {Scott's brother} went hunting to finish off what has been another fun/eventful season of duck hunting for the two of them. While Scott always comes home at the end of each season a little disappointed that it is over, he also resolves to spend his weekends getting the things done which have been neglected for 4 months. {This translates into both of us working our tails off on weekends to get all of the things done that we need to.} And, while I wish I could say that I'm excited that hunting season has come to a close, I have some reservations. Bridger & I have just had way too much fun shopping with Gramma every weekend to be ready for the season to end. Oh well, there's always next year.
For some reason lately my domestic goddess urges have emerged. It seems all I can think about are cooking, sewing, scrapbooking and cleaning! The ironic part is...I haven't actually done any of those things! Okay, I make dinner every night...but that's not exactly the kind of cooking I had in mind... It is so strange how all day long I think about the things I want to get done once I put Bridger down for the night and, when it boils right down to it, I end up snuggling with Scott on the couch, eating ice cream and watching Law & Order instead. Oh well, some day I'll get to those things...
On a completely different note--earlier this week I had the chance to go down and attend my cousin Sarah's sealing in the Provo temple {unfortunately it was in the middle of the day and Scott had to work}. I laugh when I think about all of the fun/crazy things that Sarah and I did when we lived together a few summers ago. {The midnight long-boarding trip down Provo canyon comes to mind...} It is crazy how life changes so quickly. Sarah made a gorgeous bride and her dress was absolutely stunning. Scott & I were able to attend their reception in Orem that evening to celebrate along with them. {I love that they had wedding pie instead of wedding cake!} A big congratulations to Sarah and Jon!
Next--Our basement is SO CLOSE to being finished! Scott had last Monday off for Martin Luther King Day and we spent most of the afternoon working on it. All of my holiday decorations are finally stowed safely away in the furnace room on shelves and the other shelves we purchased are up and full! We have a little bit more filing to catch up on, pictures to hang and odds and ends to put away. But, other than that...we are set! I'll post pictures once it is complete. I bet you just can't wait to see my {untouched} craft table set up. ;)
Our little Bridger boy continues to grow like a weed. I can't wait for his next doctor appointment in a couple of weeks to see what he weighs. I've been working VERY hard to ensure that he is no longer in the 4th percentile for weight...we shall see. His rolls now have rolls...c'mon! These days Bridger loves to play peek-a-boo, grab his feet to suck on his big toe, and kick his stuffed soccer ball. He also rolls over all the time now. We are working on teaching him how to officially become and unsupported sitter but he can only make it about 3-5 seconds before he starts to lose his balance and tip over. We look forward to starting cereal and baby food in the next few weeks! His chair is all set up and ready to go! Bring on those sweet potatoes! :)

I also mentioned a little while ago that I was the winner of an online giveaway. I finally snapped pictures of my winnings and thought I would post them so you all could see the fun stuff I won!...And help the companies out with a little free advertising. :) {I never win anything so I was/am pretty stoked!}
First of all, the giveaway was hosted by my friend Heidi {photographer/owner of Monkeyface Photography}. I went to Jr. High & High school with Heidi and she does great work. Check out her website HERE.
And these are the things I won...
As you can see...most of the stuff I won is for a little girl. {Can you believe Bridger wouldn't model all of it for me!? ;)} I guess we'll just have to hold on to it for few more years! Heidi, thanks again for putting the giveaway together!
Oh, and I believe the adjective you are looking for is RANDOM....or was it UNORGANIZED? :)
