We spent Thanksgiving with my side of the family this year up at my parents house. Mom & Dad made a fantastic turkey dinner along with all of my favorite Thanksgiving foods (acorn squash, PW whipped potatoes, peas, stuffing, homemade rolls, pumpkin pie). Patrick & Megon contributed a yummy spinach salad & I brought my Aunt Roxanne's famous candied yams & a gluten-free pumpkin pie for the hubs.
We weighed in before eating and to my surprise, I was only 2 lb. over my pre-pregnancy weight. (I don't have a scale at home so I rarely know how much I actually weigh...) As a reward for myself, I ate 2 loaded plates of food and several pieces of my mama's pumpkin pie. The post-dinner weigh-in showed that I ate a whopping 2 pounds of food...oh, but that was before the pie. ;)
Mmmm....can you tell that Thanksgiving is ALL about food for me? :)
After we were all stuffed to the brim, we went downstairs and watched a couple of different comedians on Netflix. It was a hilarious close to a very yummy day.

This year I'm grateful for...
- A wonderful husband who works so hard for our family.
- A healthy, happy, handsome little boy who makes me smile every time he smiles.
- Significantly fewer vet bills....and Aspen... ;)
- The opportunity I have to be a stay-at-home mom.
- My calling {Laurel Advisor}
- Generous parents
- The world's best mother & father-in-law
- Our home
