Weekend with Mom

Scott decided to take a little hunting trip with his brother last weekend and my mom was nice enough to come and stay with me for a couple of nights so I only had to be by myself for half the time. On Friday night we hung out, got some pizza, rented 17 Again and wandered around Smith's Marketplace.


Saturday morning happened to be my ward's Super Saturday which I had invited my mom to attend with me weeks before. We made a couple of cute decorations for our houses, ate soup and chatted while we worked. After watching a couple of episodes of 'Yes, Dear' (our favorite show to watch together), my brother stopped by to visit us. While I went to do a photo shoot, my mom and brother went out to lunch. The afternoon was spent watching more 'Yes, Dear' and walking around Gardner Village together. We then came back to my place to eat dinner and watch Sweet Home Alabama (it wouldn't be a mother/daughter weekend without at least 2 chick flicks!).


Mom left Sunday morning and I was so sad to see her leave! Mom's really are the best and I love when I get to spend time with my mom and relax together like we used to do all the time. Thanks for coming to stay, Mom! I can't wait until our next mother/daughter weekend! :)
