Everything turned out really well. I was in charge of the crafts, cheers, awards along with a few other things. Because it was a medical theme (V.I.T.A.L. Signs--Virtue in Thought, Action and Language) we got all of the young women scrub tops. A few of the highlights of our camp were:
Hiking
Eating fabulous food
Making earrings and friendship bracelets
Teaching the girls the 'Bye, Bye, Bye' dance
Sleeping in a new tent
Bear sightings
S'mores
Service Project

Snipe hunting
Billy Bob
and the human slingshot

{this was right after I was mistaken for one of the girls....for about the 10th time}
When I returned home from camp on Friday, I totally crashed. I had just enough time to take a shower and put on clean clothes before I found my way to the couch and slept there for several hours. I didn't get a whole lot of sleep at camp and let's face it...I can't live without my sleep.
Saturday Scott and I did some chores around the house and then went up to Kaysville for dinner with the fam and some badminton. Dad has become obsessed with badminton lately and has invested in some nice rackets and goose-feather birdies...yeah, he's that serious. We all had a good time together even though I'm not the best badminton player in the family. :)
When we were done playing we watched the t.v. commercial that Patrick and Megon are in and then looked at their wedding pictures which turned out awesome!
We finished the night with Megon cutting my hair. She just trimmed it up and put a few layers in the bottom...which took her skilled hands about 10 minutes...but, it is so nice to have it done! For those of you who are looking for an awesome stylist, give me a ring and I'll hook you up with her info.
That's what we've been up to...what about you?

I missed you! I need to learn the "Bye, bye, bye" dance just in case I ever have to do YW again! And... don't worry... for YEARS I resented that fact that they always thought I was one of the "girls." But...trust me Hyders...those days go away, and I sorta wish they were back. ;)
I mean, people even call me ma'am!! Seriously!! Love, C
how fun that you go to girl's camp! oh how i miss those days...
You are a true blessing to the young women in your ward . . . but then, I have to say that . . . I'm your very proud mom! :) Glad you are back!
