On Saturday Scott was able to get some free tickets to the Sandy Amphitheater to see Kurt Bestor. Generally Kurt only does Christmas concerts but this time he kept to a non-Christmas program. We invited Scott's parents to join us and they were nice enough to bring take-out for all of us from Porcupine Grill...yum! My father-in-law has the most shnazzy stuff including his new camping table which we set up and used to eat dinner on. I think all of the ushers mouths started to water as they walked past and smelled the grilled chicken and my gigantic burrito.
Despite all of the wise-cracks from Scott, I think we all had a nice, relaxing evening and enjoyed being outside and together. I think our favorite part of the night was the 10 year old girls who were doing a made-up gymastics routine to Kurt's smooth tunes. Gotta love girls. Thanks to Scott for the tickets and to my wonderful in-laws for dinner!
